I'm actually used to dating cheap. My boyfriend is in law school and can't work because of the time commitment. I have an average salary writing job so most of our dates are pretty cheap. I do, however, understand how it would be harder for those looking to be in a relationship if they can't buy the expensive martinis or dinner dates. The article was very interesting in that aspect.
