I have a teeny tiny announcement to make. Starting yesterday, I am now a guest blogger/contributor to William Morrow's cookbooks blog, The Secret Ingredient. Check out my first two posts on The New Brooklyn Cookbook--one is a review of the tasting event for the book, and the other includes my first DIY mixology demo. I'm still getting the hang of being filmed, but look for more videos this Fall, including recipes from Dumont (Dumac and Cheese) and Flatbush Farm (Molten Chocolate Cake).
If you're in Brooklyn this Monday night, pop over to Powerhouse for the book party for The New Brooklyn Cookbook. Authors Melissa and Brendan Vaughan will be in attendance, as well as several chefs profiled in the cookbook (my heart is set on seeing the two Franks again, of Prime Meats and Frankies Sputino).
In the meantime, I'm headed to Brooklyn Social for a little more book-related...research. Happy Friday!

That's terrific news! I'm so happy for you!

I’m just trying to clarify slot size calculations and how to roll it up to figuring out the number of requires servers in an HA cluster.
