April just happens to be National Poetry Month, and all residents [read, one] of my cubicle are celebrating. I've posted about Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, and Charles Bukowski before, so today I'll be doing something a bit unorthodox, and kicking off the month with Austin Kleon's Newspaper Blackout.
First, I should probably explain the concept, which is newspaper article + sharpie= poetry. Check out my attempt at crossing e.e. cummings with New York's Metro. I may have received a contact high from the sharpie fumes this project required, but it was definitely worth it.
